1. The city of Puno is considered the folk capital of Peru. The main base for anyone who wants to visit the highest navigable lake in the world: Titicaca Lake.

2. The Cathedral of Puno worth a visit. It is located in the Plaza de Armas and follows the baroque style, in a mestizo line, very different from the brazilian churches in the same period. Its facade is of stone, decorated with human images, wild plants and mermaids carved in wood.

3. You must meet the floating islands of Uros and Taquile and immerse yourself in unique culture and customs. Visitors can take traditional tours on reed boats and buy local handicrafts. To maintain normal blood pressure, do not miss a cup of coca or muña.

The museum is open from Monday to Friday, from 9:30AM to 7:30 PM, admission costs 15 soles.
