In 2026, we’ve interviewed more than 550 travelers with a wide mix of travelers who’ve just finished their Peru trips—solo backpackers, couples, families, and small groups—from budget to boutique. Each conversation focuses on three things:

What they loved most (and why)
What surprised or frustrated them
Actionable tips they’d share with a friend planning a trip to Peru

Expect straight talk, not glossy ads. When advice is split, we’ll show both sides so you can decide what fits your style.

How do you pick travelers to feature?

We prioritize recency (trips in 2026), route diversity, and practical usefulness (clear, actionable tips). We avoid only “perfect” trips—mistakes teach the most.

Who conducts these interviews?

HowToPeru Editorial Team, two experienced travelers and editors, curate and interview recent 2025 Peru travelers. We prioritize diverse routes, budgets, and group types, then lightly edit for clarity while keeping each traveler’s voice intact.

Do you verify facts (prices, schedules, entry rules)?

We cross-check critical logistics (e.g., entry times, ticketing norms) and date-stamp them in the article. Travelers’ opinions remain their own.
